Do you have an idea of when ?

Looks like Jaymar sent my case over to D-Box. I got an email from them with a question or two that I replied too.

Any sense of timing on resolving this?

Hey Tim, got back an answer from DBOX, they saw all my “cuts” / “Jolt” from my HUB since last week. They are investigating on it (might be last update from 7th dec) and will get back to me. So keep in touch with them as you have the same issue. Tell them to see the log of your HUB.

Did this issue get resolved? I have the Lifestyle III with the Haptisynch Hub and started getting the exact same symptoms as described in this thread in late November/early December. I think the issue first emerged when I was watching “Peripheral” streaming from Amazon Prime. Felt like a build up of kinetic energy with random explosive releases not synchronized with the show. It was actually quite jarring and kind of stressful. I was away on vacation for a few weeks and just watched Inglorious Basterds on 4K disc and didn’t have any issues. Was thinking maybe D-Box sent out the bug fix while I was away. Thoughts?

My issue was resolved by DBOX. They downgraded my update from my HUB. Sounds like an issue with it. I was able to watch 3 movies without any issues during holidays. Contact Dbox about it and leave your HUB on so they can look into it.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll watch a few more shows. If there are no problems as was my experience last night, I’ll assume D-Box pushed out the fix. If I experience the previous problems, I will get with D-Box as you have suggested. Thanks again! Tim

I am just wondering has anyone ordered/procured just the hub at this point? Looking to see how much it was (I see no MSRP listed anywhere) and where to get it from (looks like D-Box doesn’t sell their own hub).

I have seen the “dealer” link on the D-Box webpage 
 but most of those dealers aren’t exactly a local store where I can just go down and get one (I live in central California). Before I start having to call a bunch of them was hoping to take a short cut and order from somewhere that deals in them. Thanks in advance!**

During the holidays, the hub I procured with the Jaymar Lifestyle chair bundle about two years ago crapped out - at least I got to see Top Gun: Maverick first (hahahaha). The hub is now a brick/paper weight - only get a dim light on the power button (junit is non-responsive, doesn’t come up in app, and no way to “reset” it) and D-Box support says there is nothing they can do at this point, and it is out of warranty. I am hoping the next one last a little longer than 2 years.

** If I don’t hear from anyone I will update this post if/when I can find info on the stand-alone hub cost and availability.

A Jaymar rep (this is where I first bought my chair bundle) got back with me on replacement cost - $2020 which I believe includes shipping. It sounds like there is availability, but did not confirm that. Just updating post like I said I would for informational purposes.

My kit back in august was for the HUB 1000$USD as a bundle with the seats. I know there is price increase now, but that much ?
